ASUS Announces New Technology to Boost Unlocked Intel® Core Processors and GeForce 400 Series Graphics Cards

Dell shares lose gains after outlook disappoints

Shares of computer maker Dell Inc. retreated Thursday, shedding gains they made in the days leading up to its analyst meeting.

THE SPARK: On Wednesday, Dell gave an outlook for the fiscal year through January that largely matched Wall Street’s expectations. But investors may have been looking for something more, driving up the shares last week.

Dell said it expects revenue in the fiscal year through January to rise 14 percent to 19 percent from the previous year. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters had been expecting a 16 percent jump to $61.5 billion.
